Coating questions - poor zinc coverage on edges

I need to ask only couple of questions.

a. we have done many cable tray and cables ladders and other electrical power angles and other more stuff which all was required 110 Microns our zinc consumption became 7 to 9 % is this right consumption?

b. we are facing problem to have coating on edges of beams flanges other area of the same having quite good coating, if we go increase our immersion time to having coating on the edges then other part of that particular material getting thick coating, Since its hard for us to regalvanize we are matching the standard coating by prime zinc spray.

Please rush reply.

Assuming hot dip galvanising:

(1) Make parts cathodic (-6 Volts) and make tank anodic. This encourages higher deposition on sharp edges.

OR

(2) Reduce temperature to increase viscosity

Good luck.
