Letter 13022

Stainless Steel Finish Specification 

I want to know about the overall specification of surface finish of standard like ASTM. So that I can order sst sheet to the finish I want. Always heard about finish like #2B, #4, #4B, BA etc but not sure if they are some standard or not. Need a overall listing.

There is a free publication put out by Specialty Steel Industry of North America or Nickel Development Institute on stainless steel sheet finishes. There are pictures and explanations for the finishes you seek.
