Restoring/Painting Aluminium Windows

What would be the best process for re-painting oxidized domestic windows. I am looking for a spray application, and would like any advice on masking the metal. Every body in my district re paint their houses beautifully but the metal windows all look terrible.

Thanks,

Wally,

We have similar problems here in Florida with windows, trim and soffits. To refinish stained or oxidizid aluminum, it must, first, be cleaned to remove any dirt or grease.

One paint that is used quite a bit for this purpose is a Florida brand called Flex Bon Premium exterior paint. It has bonding agents in it that adheres excellently to the aluminum.

I would think that you could obtain a similar paint, locally. Just make sure that it contains the necessary bonding agents.
