PORES ON RIMS

HELLO FRIENDS,

I GOT A 17" CAST ALUMINIUM RIM FROM MY M/CYCLE, COVERED WITH FACTORY PAINT. AFTER SENDING IT TO BE POLISHED @ LATER ANODISED, I FOUND MANY DOTS OF HOLES GREATLY MAGNIFIED AFTER THE GOLD ANODISED. SO THE SHOP GOT TO REMOVE THE GOLD ANO. & REPOLISH IT AGAIN. IS THERE ANY WAYS/MEANS OF FILLING UP THE FEW HUNDREDS OF TINY HOLES? WILL PLATING WORK?
