Letter 1037 --- Scenario: using soluble Zn anode with pyrophosphate electrolyte in solution, ph=about 12 and temp of 125 degrees F to plate out Zn coating. Is there a cheaper electrolyte that will do the same thing without adding volume to the existing solution? christy
--- Hello, Christy. Please include your last name on your next response. This page is about real people and real problems, not anonymous questions. Thanks. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I understand the question. You are trying to zinc electroplate from a pyrophosphate solution rather than a conventional acid zinc, alkaline zinc, or cyanide zinc? Why?
- hello: i just want to ask about plating with acid; that the sodium cyanide is too expensive thank you yours ahmed el.nesr - el.nesr plating
