I am a student studying in India. I am currently doing a project on chromium plating. I would appreciate it if you could send me some refernces regarding the adhesion of electroplated chromium on cast iron (particularly on sheroidal graphite iron).

Electrodeposition of Chromium from Chromic Acid Solutions, Dubpernell, George, Pergamon Press, 1977. warns of the poor adhesion of Beta chromium deposited from cold solutions. He states that adhesion from a warm bath is "almost always of a very high order".
