Chrome and lucite chair refinishing 

Letter 10018 I found 4 1970's chrome plated folding chairs with clear Lucite panels....however the chrome has some rust and pitting...what can I do to remove the rust and bring back the shine? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Don F - Providence, Rhode Island

I have found that Steel Wool [link is to product info at Rockler] works the best to remove light rust from chrome. For heavier rust try tin foil, the results are amazing. To give your chrome a nice shine I always use Turtlewax Car Polish [link is to product info at Amazon]. Chrome RULES! Ben P - Oshkosh, WI, US
