-----

I am seeking information on a black nickel plating bath. Would like to start a black nickel process. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg.

In response to question #41 "black nickel" contact John Schneider Associates. They have a black nickel process as I'm aware.

Hi.

The black nickel plating process that I am familiar with is an electrolytic top coat applied over regular bright nickel. It has contaminants in it that cause it to be black. but I understand that there is also an erosion resistant heavy black nickel plating process that is used for engineering purposes such as on helicopter blades. Another supplier who offers black nickel processes is Accu-Labs, Inc., but I believe most of the major plating process vendors offer black nickel processes. Good luck.
