Metal finishing Q&As since 1989

Titanium solid colour
I am new to anodizing, and using 20% sulfuric acid with water; I got light blue which is not solid, it's very transparent. What should I do for make it solid? Can anybody help me in it .

20 percent sulfuric acid sounds unnnecessarily strong and dangerous, Waseem. Milder things like coca-cola or TSP (trisodium phosphate [on eBay or Amazon (adv.)]) can be used for safer, easier, better results. The color comes from a very thin interference coating, so don't expect deep, highly saturated, solid colors. But I have read that it is possible to apply a coating that is thicker by applying more voltage and going all the way through the spectrum until you come back to blue at two wavelengths rather than one. Good luck.
