Stripping rubber liner out of gas tank
I AM LOOKING FOR AN ACID THAT EATS RUBBER BUT NOT METAL. I AM CLEANING THE INSIDE OF A FUEL TANK THAT IS LINED WITH RUBBER. I DON'T WANT THE RUBBER AND I DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THE FUEL TANK. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THIS?

I am in the same predicament. I have to remove old gas tank line that applied incorrectly and peeling off because it has been sitting w/o fuel in the tank. Neither concrete cleaner, or acetone works. Did you find something that worked? Please let me know.

Use acetone [on eBay or Amazon (adv.)]. I just used it work great use at FULL strength for best results.
